When flying into the UK, the following airports may be available to use:

• London Gatwick Airport (281 miles)

Please note, for international arrivals we advise you use London Heathrow Airport.

Travelling by train:
When arriving into London Heathrow Terminals, please use the Heathrow Express and travel to London Paddington, journey takes 15mins.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.heathrowexpress.com or at the station. You can also check the service times. 

Onward trains are available from London Paddington to Truro. Tickets can be purchased through the following websites:

Travelling by local flight:
When arriving into at London Heathrow Terminals, flights to Newquay Airport may be available to book through www.https://www.britishairways.com/

Please request a collection prior to arrival from Newquay Airport.
_{Please note, for the return flight from Newquay to Heathrow, you need to leave Falmouth 2 hours before the flight departure time, to cover travel and check-in time.}

Flights to/from Newquay Airport are also available from Manchester and Leeds Bradford on specific days. For more information about flights to/from Newquay Airport, please refer to the Cornwall Airport website: www.cornwallairportnewquay.com 

If you are arriving by air at Gatwick, please use the Gatwick Express to travel to Reading Station and alight onto a train destine for Truro. https://www.gatwickexpress.com/

Alternatively, please take a National Express coach, which run direct between Heathrow and Gatwick up to six times an hour. Tickets and information: www.nationalexpress.com

If you are arriving by air at Bristol or Exeter, please request a collection prior to arrival. 

Travelling by rail:

Departing from London, take a direct train from Paddington and alight at Truro.
Please note, Penzance is the last stop on all the trains to Cornwall and the journey takes around five hours from Paddington.

Please let us know the approx. time of your arrival and we will arrange for someone to meet you at Truro railway station. Alternatively, taxis are available from outside the station. Truro is approximately 20 minutes drive from Falmouth.
 
Staying in Falmouth:

Falmouth is an attractive seaside and harbour town, with three beaches availble within walking distance and it offers a wide variety of hotels. We recommend any of the following corporate hotels, but can make reservations at others upon request.
