Peristaltic dosing and metering

Qdos metering pump

Delivering flow rates that remain constant right up to 7 bar Qdos peristaltic chemical metering pumps give users a unique advantage over diaphragm metering pumps.

Qdos pumps eliminate the need for ancillary equipment while ensuring accurate, linear and repeatable metering across all process conditions

  • Cut chemical cost through higher accuracy metering
  • Simple drop-in installation eliminates ancillary equipment
  • Reduced maintenance with single, no-tools, component replacement
  • Flow rates from 0.1 to 2,000 ml/min at up to 7 bar

Single-use pumps

Quantum bioprocessing pump

Quantum is an innovative bioprocessing pump providing a step-change in pump technology.

Quantum is specifically designed for tangential flow filtration (TFF), virus filtration (VF), and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) applications. Quantum delivers flow linearity throughout the 3 bar single-use processing pressure range up to 20 L/min, leading the market with virtually no pulsation 0.12 bar pressure stability.

  • Flow rates from 5.33 ml/min to 20 L/min
  • 4,000:1 speed control range from 0.1 to 400 rpm in 0.1 rpm increments
  • Patented ReNu SU cartridge technology

Case Study - Watson-Marlow pump reduces chocolate flavour changes from hours to minutes

Devon-based Moo Free Ltd is taking advantage of a 530 series process pump from Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS) to optimise the manufacture of dairy-free, gluten-free vegan and organic chocolate products. Acquired as part of a production process redesign, the 530 pump is helping the company to reduce the time required for flavour changeovers from half a day to just five minutes.

Mr March commissioned the manufacture of a small stainless-steel hopper which sits above the Watson-Marlow 530UN/R2 pump to provide gravity feed for the flavouring.
