What is your assignment?

You build on your customer portfolio in Central and Southern Netherlands and strengthen the relationship with your customers! You will meet the right people, understand their needs perfectly and provide them with the best fitting high quality solution Watson-Marlow has to offer. Your ultimate goal: strong partnerships that are open to new technologies and solutions!

AFTER 1 YEAR

You will convince the traditional market of Watson-Marlow's unique and advanced hose pump technology. You will be seen as the first point of contact for accurate metering and difficult fluids. You will also ensure that Watson-Marlow is top of mind and seen as an expert and partner in this field. Together you'll take a daily step towards realising our ambitions.

Watson-Marlow is the world leader in pump solutions and associated fluid path technology for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and water industries. Within five years Watson-Marlow wants to continue its partnerships in all these segments and expand them to the entire production process of its customers.

How are you going to do that?

The industrial sector in the Netherlands is familiar territory for you. Like no other, you understand how to approach this market successfully. You make a solid sales plan and lay the foundation for success in this position.

Your customers are active in the chemical, galvanic, water treatment and paper processing market segments. These are end-users who deal with critical dosages or where difficult liquids are a challenge. You make use of your specialist knowledge in the field of production processes and dosage applications. Through your existing contacts, you expand your network with your customers. You know exactly what is going on in each department in terms of production, development and maintenance. You know exactly who to talk to: production managers, the Quality, Maintenance or Process Manager. You will be their preferred discussion partner!

With your enthusiasm and knowledge of product applications and processes, you'll get stuck in looking for opportunities: where can Watson-Marlow's solutions make a difference for your customer? You want only the best solution to get the most out of your customer. That's your key to success and your guarantee of long-term partnerships. Building relationships is therefore in your DNA. Taking the initiative and persevering are your second nature!

You work from home and from the modern office in Barendrecht. You will report to the Sales Manager Benelux. You will visit the international Watson-Marlow conferences annually, go to factories for training and visit trade fairs.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor work and thinking level;
  • You are driven, ambitious and a go-getter; eager to score!
  • Affinity with technology and sales experience in the industrial sector in the Netherlands;
  • Preferably knowledge of or experience with process technology and/or chemistry;
  • Eager to learn and goal-oriented; you will become the expert in your field!
  • Communicative skills: you have a good command of the English and Dutch languages, both verbally and in writing.
